Welcome To DFP                                                                         The Directorate of Field Publicity is one of the Media Units of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. It is engaged in the task of publicizing various programmes and policies of the Government through its network of 207 Field Publicity Units under the control and supervision of 22 Regional Offices.Field Publicity came into existence in 1953 with 32 Field Publicity Units under the control of four Regional Offices.

ANDHRA PRADESH

Nizamabad & Srikakulam FPUs organized 02 SOPs on Two Years Achievements of the government and other welfare schemes of Govt. of India on 15.07.2016 and 19.07.2016 respectively. All FPUs observed World Population Day on 11.07.2016 and highlighted the theme by organizing oral communication programmes, film shows, seminars and public meetings.


ARUNACHAL PRADESH

Four Special Outreach Programmes organised by Tawang,Bomdila,Tezu and Daporijo units.In addition all nine units organised routine publicity activities.Cleanliness drive organised as part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. 110 villages and 24990 people were reached during the month.


ASSAM

During the month of July,2016 DFP, Assam Region has organized normal/ routine programme. Total 368 no programme were conducted including Film Show, Oral Communication , Photo Exhibition, Feedback etc and cover 4 Minorities area and 49 Other area.


BIHAR

During this month DFP Bihar region has to be organised 01 SOP at Block- Gauradih, Dist- Bhagalpur (30/07/2016). Total FS-78, OC-107, SP-02, PH Ex-62, Feedback Collected- 10.


CHHATTISGARH

During the month of July 2016 11 FPUs under Raipur Region has organized routine prog on various flag ship prog of central Govt.


GUJARAT

During the month of July, six field units arranged 70 film shows, 108 group discussions, 60 photo exhibitions and 24 Feedbacks were collected. Two special outreach programmes were organized on the theme ‘Vikas ki nayee Udan’ to highlight the initiatives taken by NDA government in two year. Chhota Udaipur MP Shri Ramsinh Rathwa participated in Godhara unit SOP held at Bodeli village & Valsad MLA Shri Bharatbhai Patel participated in Surat SOP held at Magod Dungari Village.


JAMMU & KASHMIR

The situation in Jammu & Kashmir State remained tense during the month of July 2016 as all the districts of Kashmir division remained under curfew for the last 15 to 20 days.There was no possibility of organizing any field activities on Special Outreach Programme during July, 2016.


JHARKHAND

All the units of Ranchi region has conducted routine programmes (8 special programme) on the theme of world population day on 11 july 2016, covered 95 villages of Jharkhand state with a touch of 24884 audiences during the month of July 2016.


KARNATAKA

The Field Units of Karnataka Region organized Routine Activities during the month of July, 2016. The each interactive programme package included Public Meeting, Film Show, Photo Exhibition and Group Discussions. The Region has organized awareness programmes on World Population Day on 11.07.2016.


KERALA

Kerala-lakshyadweep Region- under the theme of Mera Desh Badal Raha Hai Aage Badh Raha Hai, we disseminate the information about central Govt. Scheme of Vikas Ki Nai Udan such as Financial Inclusion, Skill India Mission,Start Up and Stand Up India Programmes, Swachh Bhart Abhiyan, Social Security Schemes, etc through various means (Progs.) such as film shows, conducting special programmes, oral communication programmes, group discussion, competitions and photo exhibitions, etc.


MADHYA PRADESH

MAHARASHTRA

2 SOPs were org at Bhivapur and Marwad during this month. MP Sh AT Nana Patil and MLA Smt Smitatai Wagh part as Chief Guests in SOP, Marwad, Dist-Jalgaon. All 2 SOPs covered by DDK. S&DD progs org at both SOP venues. Amravti Jalgaon Kolhapur Nashik and Solapur units org various competitions to publicise the theme Swachh Bharat. All units org routine field activities to highlight the theme Swachh Bharat and IMPCC theme during this month.


MMT

During the month of July 2016, DFP, MMT Region organized 73 Normal Tour Programs and 2 Special Outreach Programs, covering 79 villages and 24651 audiences approx. Film show 73 Oral Communication 161 Photo Exhibition 75 Feedback 104


NAGALAND & MANIPUR

All the field personal of the (N&M) region have extensively sensitized to the citizen in all the nook and corner of both the state Nagaland & Manipur on SESA, Skill India Mission, PMJDY, Swaach Bharat Abiyan etc; The Tamenglong Unit & RO, Kohima jointly conducted 1 (one) special prog. on "Two Years Achievement of the Indian Government" respectively. All the field officers have been publicized widely and informed the people through Film show, Oral Communication, Photo Exhibition etc ;


NORTH WEST

During the month, North-West Region, Chandigarh has organised 6 special Outreach programmes on two years achievement of Government on the theme of "Mera Desh Badal Raha Hai Aage Badh Raha Hai" in District Solan (Himachal Pradesh), Sonipat (Haryana), Ferozepur (Punjab), Taran Taran (Punjab), Pathankot (Punjab), Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh).


RAJASTHAN

In July,2016, DFP Rajasthan has organized 552 programme activities in 145 villages as part of the special campaign to create awareness about 3 Social Security Insurance Schemes, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Crop Insurance Scheme, Ujjawala Yojana and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. These programme activities includes 138 film shows, 237 oral communications and 177 photo exhibitions. About 80,305 people were directly reached through the programmes conducted in the Region.


TAMIL NADU

Five SOPs & Routine progs.were organised in the Region.1.Vellore & Dharmapuri Units-Arcot Block, Vellore Dt.(District), 2.Salem & Coimbatore Units - Edappadi Block,Salem Dt.,3.Tiruchirapalli & Ramanathapuram Units-Thiruverambur Block,Tiruchirapalli Dt.,4.Thanjavur & Puducherry Units-Thanjavur Block,Thanjavur Dt.,5.Tirunelveli & Madurai Untis - Valliyoor Block,Tirunelveli Dt.Themes covered were Agriculture,Women Empowerment,Social Security,Youth Develop-ment,Upliftment of Poor and Infrastructure.


UTTAR PRADESH

Campaign on World Yoga Day, Swatch Bharat Mission, BBBP and World Population Day has been organised by the units of Lucknow region.


UTTARANCHAL

During the month the units of this region organized 11 FS, 148 OC and 119 PE in boarder, Minority and Other areas. Pauri and Uttarkashi unit organized Special Outreach programme in Pauri and Uttarkashi district.


WEST BENGAL(NORTH)

West Bengal(N) and Sikkim conducted two SOP on Beti Bachao Beti Padao, Swach Bharat Abhiyan, Financial inclusion schemes in sittong Kurseong Block and Sumbuk South Sikkim. Song and drama artist also performed during the SOP which were well received by the public. Kalimpong assisted by Coochbehar and Jorethang assisted by Gangtok successfully conducted the SOPs and also the normal programmes.


WEST BENGAL(SOUTH)

FPU,Berhampur, Bankura and Bardhaman organised each one SOP in their respective jurisdiction. FPU,Chuchura and Ranaghat participate in that prog. as a partner unit. Out of 9 allotted SOP, till July,2016 six SOP completed by RO,DFP,Kolkata. Besides, SOP routine prog. were also organised by FPU,Berhampur,Ranaghat,Medinipur,Chuchura,Bardhaman & Bankura during July,16. Swachh Bharat Mission Prog. were also organised by Six Units.
